Risks at a Beach Park Near a Pool The Independence State Park is known across the country for its famous annual Dog Agility Competition. Set in beautiful Blenheim, New Hampshire, the competition takes place over the muddy Androscoggin River and has been enjoyed by thousands of competitors since 1970. The Bridge Pool is an ideal setting for an Agility Competition. " Located just west of Richmond, Independence qualifies as the premier outdoor event and recreational facility in Virginia. Recognized by dilution model as one of the best courses to play on in Richmond, we've reduced playing time by over an hour. This reduced play time makes for less wear and tear on the facility and allows us to provide our guests with more of a challenge and a longer stay. With the addition of our A-Frame and Pool rentals, it's been even easier to increase the enjoyment level and profitability." Owners John Cappiello and wife Leeann have thoroughly enjoyed owning and operating the Bridge Pool. They understand the inherent risks associated with the operation of a Pool and have done everything possible to mitigate that risk while still providing their guests with an exciting and engaging experience. connectedinvestor of the inherent risks associated with a Pool will be in order. Risks exist in every aspect of owning a Pool; that is why we operate this unique service in the first location of its kind. First and foremost, there are inherent risks such as natural or man-made erosion, damage from precipitation or other sources, accidents, damage to or changes in the property's soil structure, and the need to repair and/or replace the Pool's outmost shell. It goes without saying that any of these risks could occur and cause damage to the Pool. A thorough inspection of the Pool's structure by the owners at the time of its construction would have avoided many of these problems. The weather is unpredictable. We all know the great storms that can occur from time to time. These can include tornadoes, hurricanes, snow storms, hail storms, tropical storms, and all manner of other atmospheric conditions. While these weather events may have great impact on the physical appearance and general operation of the Pool, they are not the greatest concern for the owners or operators. This is one reason that the founders of Covid-19 chose to operate their Pool in an open and covered area. This allowed them the opportunity to be prepared should conditions alter drastically and require immediate repairs. Another risk factor is the weathering of rocks that surround the Pool. Rocks, beach sand, and other natural materials that the Pool is surrounded by can easily weather due to rain, sun, and wind. While this can temporarily impede the Pool's operation; it also presents a greater risk for the Pool and its patrons. If rocks begin to weather significantly, they can become slippery and pose a threat to patrons; especially if they fall into the water. In addition, if rocks that weather is left uncovered in the open can become a hiding place for mosquitoes and other insects which can carry dangerous diseases. A third danger that can be found in areas near a Pool is that of theft. Thieves can easily target a Pool as there are many individuals who choose to set-up house or business in an area near a Pool. As well, some thieves will try to force an entrance near a Pool and if they can gain access they may use tools such as razors, chains, or even hammers to remove the locks and gain access to the Pool's contents. Due to the nature of the Pool's contents, these items can often be extremely valuable or otherwise of exceptional value. It is for this reason that it is essential that you secure all items that may be left on your property, whether they are locked away, or otherwise secured. You should always ensure that your property is free of burglary and you should contact local law enforcement authorities so that appropriate measures can be taken. The fourth danger which can be found at a distance from a Pool is the issue of storm water. If a storm were to hit the area surrounding a Pool it is likely that the high winds would blow any debris which had been left lying in the ground across the property into the immediate area. As well, falling leaves and other garden waste may clog the drains close by and cause flooding. This can be a very dangerous and costly issue. If you have trees or bushes around the Property, they may need to be tended to and cleared from the soil as a result of storm water running off the Pool's into them. While these are all risks which can be found at a distance from a Beach Park, it must be remembered that they can be increased substantially when a Pool is located on or next to an open water body such as a river or ocean. Not only are there more potential dangers of vandalism, but thieves and other risks can be exacerbated by the proximity of the Pool. This is because the potential for theft at a beach is much greater than at a pool due to the prevalence of other people, equipment and items in the vicinity of the Pool. These factors are all taken into account in the design of a Pool's design, the location of the Pool and the design of surrounding buildings. All these factors and more need to be carefully considered in order to ensure that your Pool is kept as safe as possible.
